Study on ‘Strengthening CHC for first referral care’ in three districts of Meghalaya

North East Network, Shillong is partnering with Centre for Health and Social Justice (CHSJ), New Delhi to carry out a study on ‘Strengthening CHC for first referral care’ in three districts of Meghalaya East Khasi Hills, West Khasi Hills, Garo Hills.

This study is part of a training programme “Rapid Assessment of Health programmes” for NGOs. Up to twelve civil society organisations (NGOs) from different states (with a preference for NRHM high focus states) have been selected on the basis of their past interest and capacities of working on health issues and ability to undertake documentation studies. 

It is expected that each rapid assessment procedure will result in a narrative report and a policy brief.
