NEN has brought out a pocket handbook providing information where women can seek help in different kinds of emergencies in Guwahati city. We have been part of larger initiatives in India that are working towards making our cities safer for women. We are hopeful that this handbook will be of great assistance to women who need such information at emergency situations. There are about 14 Counselling Centres, 9 Legal Support Centres, 29 Institutional Care and other miscellaneous services listed in the handbook in addition to various other useful numbers. 5000 copies of the handbook have been printed for distribution as of now.
